The Company attempts to control the risks in cash transportation by integrating risk management into all phases of its operations: company culture; hiring and training; operating procedures; and insurance, administration.

Hiring and Training

The Company maintains an employee selection and screening program which includes tests and a detailed background check. The screening process comprises clearance from police, army record office, NADRA, previous employers and ground checks. Despite drawing all its crews from the armed forces, the Company emphasizes training and development at all levels. All operationl and safety training revolves around the importance of risk prevention. The Company has implemented specialized training programs in contingency handling, employees ‘personal safety, weapons handling and safety, driving safety, and virtually all other elements of operations. These programs are further supported through incentive and other employee recognition programs.

 
If large amounts of cash need to be banked or collected on a regular basis, then the safest method is to employ a recognized cash-carrying company. Large financial and retail institutions are increasingly seeking vendors capable of providing cash transportation and management services. Askari Guards CIT is favorably positioned to service the continued proliferation of ATM's and accelerating trend of major financial and retail institutions towards outsourcing cash transportation and related services.
